Canadian Women’s Ride Day
July 8th, 2014
Imagine 100 or more women on motorcycles riding through your community. It’s happening this July around Victoria BC. This wonderful group of women, who share of love of riding motorcycles, will be riding in support of various local charities July 20th, 2014.
The event was original started by Westcoast Roar in Mill Bay in 2013 but the volunteers involved are now spreading the word across Canada! There are countless women’s charities that need support and July 20 will see these motorcycle enthusiasts doing just that. Locally some of the charities supported will be the Cowichan Women Against Violence and the Victoria Women in Need society.
Sunday July 20th registration will begin at the Country Grocer parking lot in Cobble Hill. $25 registration fee will get female riders all sorts of fun stuff beside the opportunity to ride with their “sisters”. The group has also planned a raffle and music to raise funds and fun.
Events happening after the ride are also open to everyone, not just the lady riders.
