Toronto Blue Jays Help Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation

The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will host its inaugural Scotiabank Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation Hot Stove Luncheon featuring the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday, January 21st (1180 W. Hastings Street) starting at 12:00pm.

During this inaugural luncheon, the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation will announce a focused, multi-tiered community initiative determined to help local youth by giving them both hope and opportunity while encouraging self-development and the chance to achieve excellence.
The Toronto Blue Jays will send a quartet of players to Vancouver along with General Manager Alex Anthopoulos, Manager John Farrell and a host of other dignitaries to help the Canadians celebrate this community based announcement.
“Our newly formed Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation is firmly committed to our local youth who have always been able to rise and achieve greatness even in the face of adversity”, says Canadians owner Jeff Mooney who will be introduced as the new Chairman of the Foundation.
