Travel Idea – The Circle tour
April 19th, 2010
One of the Pacific North West’s best holiday getaway ideas is the Circle Tour. This is either a self-drive, cycling trip or formal bus tour that allows you to visit beautiful Victoria BC, the Olympic Peninsula, Puget Sound and Vancouver BC. Whether you start in Canada or the United States, by making this complete circle you have the opportunity to see some of the most diverse and exciting scenery the Northwest has to offer. Stay at the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport hotel in Richmond BC and enjoy the best Vancouver has to offer.
Catch a BC Ferry from Tsawwassen to Swartz bay, Vancouver Island, and take in one of the most scenic ferry trips anywhere in the world. Once on the Island you can stay at our Accent Inn Victoria hotel while you visit the World Famous Butchart Gardens, check out the Royal BC Museum, say hi to some whales, try your hand at kayaking and enjoy the scenery and history that only Victoria BC can offer. Now for the Spectacular trip across the Strait of Juan de Fuca aboard Blackball Ferry’s MV Coho. You’ll enjoy this trip as you take in the spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains and Olympic Peninsula. Check with the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce for a full list of things to do there but if possible, the trip up Hurricane ridge is a must. Up on the ridge you can look back and see your previous stop, Victoria BC (look closely and you may even see our Victoria hotel’s blue roof – Accent Inn’s signature). From here you travel along the peninsula towards Puget Sound. Visit the many quaint hamlets along the way to the vibrant Seattle and Tacoma. To complete the Circle you head north again towards that familiar blue roof of the Accent Inn Vancouver Airport hotel (or our Burnaby hotel for another experience…..) When you do decide to take advantage and stay in more than one Accent Inn hotel location.
Enjoy your Circle Tour!
